Nussbaumer & Clarke, Inc. provided design, permitting, and construction phase services for the construction of the Village of Hamburg’s new 1.25-million-gallon composite elevated water storage tank. Our team helped the Village secure a $5 Million Water Infrastructure Improvement (WIIA) grant for the project.
The project included a booster pump station, SCADA system, 5,900 linear feet of new 16-inch PVC transmission and distribution waterlines, along with hydrants, valves, drainage improvements, roadway and sidewalk restoration along Division Street, and on-site wetland mitigation.
The water tank was constructed as part of a water system consolidation between the Village and the Erie County Water Authority (ECWA). Our team coordinated connections to the Village’s existing water system and specified the tank coating system in accordance with AWWA standards, helping improve long-term water storage capacity, system reliability, and fire protection for the community. Nussbaumer is currently providing Construction Administration services.
