Mike leads the strategic direction of the company while supporting clients throughout every phase of a project—from planning and funding to design and construction. His leadership ensures that Nussbaumer remains a trusted partner to municipalities across Western New York.

Why did you go into your profession?
I was always much more interested in math and science than other subjects in school. I went to Hutch Tech high which was geared towards engineering. From there I decided to continue on that track and settled on Civil Engineering at UB. I viewed that as a field that would continue to be in demand as it encompassed design of new to rehabilitation of necessary infrastructure including roads, sewers and water systems.
